Drawn Here!

I am so excited to introduce Drawn Here, a new project created right here at Art Department!

Think of it as a worldwide, shared sketchbook organized by place—a place where artists can discover interesting locations to draw, see how other artists have interpreted them, and add their own sketches to the map.

My hope is that Drawn Here will grow into a creative map filled with places and sketches from around the world—and I’d love for you to help us build it.

Join us during First Friday, September 4, from 5–8pm to explore the project. We’ll have sketching supplies out so you can draw, experiment, and add something to Drawn Here. At 6pm, Jessica will give a short demonstration showing how the project works and how to get started.

Drawn Here is still in its beta-testing days, which means this is also your chance to help shape it. Try it out, tell us what works, let us know what’s confusing, and share your ideas for what would make it even better.

Come draw with us, discover someplace new, and help us put a few more pins on the map!
