Wild October

My first month at Art Department has been a whirlwind of activity. We've implemented new systems that include point of sale, inventory, and new technology. Honestly, it's been challenging at times. But each day it is getting better and our incredible team keeps plugging away with smiles and a steady resolve. 

While technology has been trying, our customers have been such a highlight. Hearing your stories, projects, and well wishes have been so fulfilling. It's a joy to serve you and see what you are up to. I've had the privilege of connecting with old friends and making new ones as well. 

Parents have come in to purchase supplies to promote creating rather than consuming while providing tactile, hands-on experiences for kids. Some folks have come to purchase items that have been destroyed by fire, while others are looking for that perfect shade of color to help engage their art muse. We all have such different experiences right now, but we have one constant. Art! That itch to create and express ourselves enriches our lives and feeds our souls. Through the power of paint, ink, and sidewalk chalk, we feel empowered. Thank you for choosing us to help you with this journey.
