Daphne plant grows high up in the Himalayas where village coops collect the bark from the forest and make it into natural paper. The paper is brought to Kathmandu where is colored, silkscreen or batik blocked. This is how each of our handmade papers is made. All our papers are 20x30 inches in size, deckled edge on 4 sides. Each sheet is handmade by women crafters from Nepal using locally sourced plant bark and either hand silkscreen or block printed.
