Soft-Cover Mixed Media and Watercolor Art Journals 400 Series

The  intermediate grade watercolor paper has a strong surface that is ideal for watercolor, gouache and acrylic. The natural white color and traditional cold-press surface allows for fine and even washes, as well as lifting and scraping applications. These softcover journals have a sophisticated look with a soft and smooth matte cover in dark-chocolate brown. The smyth-sewn binding allows the journals to open wide and lay flat. There are 48 pages of 140 lb. (300gsm), cold-press surface watercolor paper in each journal. They are acid-free and made in the U.S.A.

Mid-tone paper has been created specifically to work well with both light and dark media. These journals are made from 184 lb. (300 gsm) heavy-weight paper intended for use with wet and dry media. These light-weight and flexible journals feature a velvety soft cover in rich dark brown and are available in convenient, portable sizes. These soft-cover journals also feature durable Smyth-sewn binding, allowing pages to lay flatter than standard journals.
