The Kirikane collection reproduces artwork by Sayoko Eri, a devoted revivalist of the ancient kirikane technique, using our unique printing process. Kirikane translates from Japanese to cut gold, and is an art form traditionally used to decorate Buddhist artifacts with gold metal leaf. This mini journal contains 176 unlined pages, smyth sewn binding, memento pouch and is made from acid-free sustainable forest paper.
