Not sure what traditional Gouache paint is or how to use it? Jessica will teach you her favorite tips and common pitfalls. After you've gained some experience, Jessica will lead you to create a gouache painting.

I prefer M.Graham & Co. The paint is made in Hubbard, has vivid pigments, and is resistant to cracking. This brand is 40% off at the Art Department. You could purchase with a friend and share tubes or use another gouache if you’d like.
- Phthalocyanine Blue (Primary)
- Hansa Yellow (Primary)
- Quinacridone Rose
- Titanium White
- Ivory Black (optional, you could mix your own)
Brushes
For the most part, I use round, synthetic, watercolor brushes, not natural bristle ones.
- One medium brush (size 4 or 6)
Other
- Paper, 140lb cold press paper in a pad or block, any size, Paper weighing less than 140lb can be used. Just tape down with artist's tape to a board.
- Ceramic palette or plate
- Paint rag
- Jar for water
