We have two days of action-packed Gelli Printing fun planned for those who want learn all the Gelli Transfers. This retreat will allow you time and space to create beautiful transfers using gelli plates. Jessica will bring in her printer so you can print your images as well. You'll have plenty of free time to create what you'd like, and Jessica will also provide break-out demos throughout the making times to learn new processes and techniques to bring your Gelli prints to the next level.
There is lots of individual play and explore time.
If you have never used Gelli plates before, you will need to take our Basic Gelli Printing Class first.
Demos include:
- Image Transfer with Magazines
- Choosing the right image and photo editing
- Image Transfers with Copies
- Layering colors with Transfers

Note: All regular-priced supplies are available at 20% off from Art Department for this class.
- Gel Printing Plate 8x10 or larger
- Brayer
- A set of Amsterdam Paints or fluid Golden Paints (you can also use craft paints however they may not stick as well)
- Paper: We will go through lots of paper. Cardstock, Copy Paper, or Printmaking Paper works great for nicer prints. You can also use photocopy paper. Bring at least 100 sheets because you will not want to run out.
- Paint Brushes (round or flat, sizes 4 - 8)
- A Magazine

Various items for textures. These are great options:
- Stencils
- Combs
- Plastic Forks and Knives
- Ribbon and Lace
- String and Twine
- Plastic Canvas Pieces
- Crumpled up Wax Paper or Tissue Paper
- Buttons
- Hardware nuts & washers
- An old catalog for off loading paint from the brayer.
- Wear paint clothes or bring an apron. Gloves are optional.
We will break for an hour lunch on Saturday. Bring cash if you'd like to dine at a local restaurant or a bring a sack lunch.
