Homemade holiday cards are a fun and easy way to get into the spirit of the season, and share the gift of your talents with your friends and family. Claire will guide you through the painting of several different holiday cards choices and you can mix and match to create the cards you want.

Paints
Pyrrol Scarlet, Sap Green, Payne's Grey, Cobalt Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Hansa Yellow, and White Gouache. Please bring to class the best quality paint you can afford, either artist or student grade. Windsor Newton and Daniel Smith have great introductory pans or tube sets, or you can buy individual tubes from any reputable brand.

1- 9x12 student-grade watercolor pad
1-2 sets of 6 blank Strathmore Cold Press Watercolor cards with envelopes, size 5” x 7”

2- quart sized containers for water
Black waterproof ink pen like Micron
Paper towels
Spray Bottle
Claire will provide metallic paints and some stencils so you can embellish your cards as well.
